Community Highlights: Meet Lily Hoffman of HoffMed Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lily Hoffman.

Hi Lily, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a pharmacist by training, but my path into wellness consulting really evolved from seeing a gap in traditional healthcare. I spent years working closely with medications, and while they are incredibly valuable, I began to notice that many patients were missing the bigger picture- how lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, and overall wellness all connect with medication outcomes.
That realization led me to create HoffMed Consulting, where I focus on helping individuals better understand their bodies and their treatments through a more personalized, integrative lens. My goal has always been to bring clarity. Whether that’s simplifying complex medication regimens, optimizing supplements, or guiding clients through areas like energy, sleep, hormonal balance, and longevity-focused wellness.
HoffMed consulting has grown into a concierge style experience, working with both individual clients and corporate teams to support high performing individuals who want to feel and function at their best. I’ve also expanded into advanced areas like genetic testing and peptide education to further personalize care.
What drives me is helping people feel more in control of their health, with a deeper understanding, not just a list of recommendations.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been building something that sits in between traditional healthcare and the wellness space. There’s often a lack of clarity around where that kind of work fits, both from a regulatory standpoint and from a client understanding perspective.
As a pharmacist, I’m trained in evidence based medicine, but HoffMed was built around a more integrative, personalized approach. Bridging those two worlds while staying ethical, compliant, and educational has required a lot of intention and constant refinement.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about HoffMed Consulting?
HoffMed Consulting is a concierge wellness consulting practice rooted in clinical expertise and personalized care. As a PharmD, my foundation is in medication management, but what sets HoffMed apart is the integration of that clinical background with a more comprehensive, lifestyle focused approach.
We specialize in helping clients optimize their health through a deeper understanding of how medications, supplements, nutrition, and lifestyle all work together. This includes medication and supplement reviews, lab interpretation, and personalized guidance in areas like energy, sleep, hormonal balance, and longevity focused wellness. We also incorporate advanced tools such as genetic testing to further individualize recommendations across nutrition, supplementation, and emerging areas like peptides.
What truly sets HoffMed apart is the level of clarity and personalization we provide. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed by conflicting information or overly complex protocols, and our role is to simplify that while still maintaining a high level of sophistication and intention. Every recommendation is tailored, practical, and grounded in both clinical insight and real life application.
We’re also expanding into corporate wellness, working with high-performing teams to support focus, energy, and overall well being in a way that feels elevated and accessible.
What I’m most proud of is building a brand that people trust not just for recommendations, but for understanding. HoffMed is about helping individuals feel more informed, more in control, and ultimately better supported in their health decisions.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I don’t view risk as something reckless. I see it as something that should be intentional and well informed. Coming from a clinical background, I’m naturally trained to think about safety, evidence, and long term outcomes, so even in business, my approach to risk is very calculated.
One of the biggest risks I took was stepping outside of a traditional pharmacy path to build HoffMed. There isn’t always a clearly defined roadmap for what I’m doing especially in the space between clinical medicine and personalized wellness so a lot of it has required trusting my vision and creating something that didn’t fully exist in a structured way.
Another layer of risk has been introducing newer areas like genetic testing and peptide education, which are evolving spaces. For me, the responsibility is making sure that even when exploring innovative approaches, everything is grounded in education, safety, and transparency.
Overall, I think meaningful growth requires a certain level of discomfort. The key is making sure that the risks you take are aligned with your values and that you’re willing to continuously learn and adapt. For me, it’s never about taking the biggest risk. It’s about taking the right one.
