Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Murdock.
Hi Nadia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I always say life isn’t linear and neither is my story. I started Nadia Murdock Fit as a side hustle, a way to spend more time doing what I loved and to find an escape from a job that felt deeply misaligned at the time. That experience ultimately led me to my life’s purpose and for that, I’m grateful, even for the job I once disliked most.
What began with a focus on group fitness, personal training, and wellness writing has since evolved into a movement and a recognized presence in the wellness industry. Today, Nadia Murdock Fit offers VIP 1:1 coaching for women who are ready to reclaim their vitality and step into confident, aligned living.
In addition, I host the Return to Self Retreat in the Catskills in partnership with Hemlock Neversink, and I recently co-created The MPR Circle, a collaborative partnership rooted in mindset, presence, and resilience. Looking ahead, I’m excited to be launching the Italian Reset Retreat in the summer of 2027 and continuing my work in the hospitatily industry offering my “Wellness That Moves You” corporate wellness program.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I believe that when things are too smooth, we miss the opportunity to truly appreciate them and we don’t grow in the ways we’re meant to. So to answer your question, no, the road hasn’t been smooth.
I’ve experienced everything from being gaslit by someone I hired to support my marketing, to navigating mean-girl behavior within the fitness industry, to launching projects that didn’t turn out to be the “next big thing” I thought they would be. In the moment, those experiences were painful and discouraging.
Do I regret any of it? Not at all. Each challenge brought clarity, redirection, and a deeper understanding of where I was meant to go. I am happy they didn’t derail me but actually they guided me closer to the work I’m truly here to do.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a mindset and mental wellness leader, speaker, and founder of Nadia Murdock Fit. With my background in psychology and CBT-informed practices, I help women, particularly leaders, and entrepreneurs build confidence, emotional resilience, and clarity so that they can step into the ultimate versions of themselves.
I feel what sets me apart is my ability to bridge evidence-based mental health tools with real-life application. My work goes beyond motivation, offering practical, accessible strategies that honor the nervous system, Through coaching, workshops, retreats, and community-centered programs, I empower individuals to reconnect with themselves, rewrite limiting narratives, and lead with intention, consistency, and momentum.
What does success mean to you?
I believe success looks different for everyone because it’s deeply aligned with our values. When you create an operating system rooted in what matters most to you, you move through life with greater alignment and that alignment leads to fulfillment in many forms.
It took me time to truly understand this. I needed to experience the ups and downs to arrive at this realization. Once I did, success began to feel deeper and more meaningful. It became rewarding in ways beyond titles or milestones. Today, I’m changing lives through the work I do, and that is incredibly gratifying.
