Daily Inspiration: Meet Stacy Niewinski

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacy Niewinski.

Hi Stacy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always loved animals especially dogs! I knew one day someway somehow I would make my dream a reality. I started working and Fetch family pet resort part-time, checking out over 90 daycare dogs a day! I witnessed many stressed out pup parents struggling to make it their on time to pick up their pups. With a lot of soul searching and the support of my amazing husband we brought the idea to the GM of Fetch Carolyn! I took a few months of meetings and planning, but it finally came to life. Without fetch family pet resort, I would’ve never been able to achieve this on my own. They have been so supportive and selfless in promoting my business.!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was very slow in the beginning, but that’s something I expected. We also bought a shuttle bus to start out with. We had to sell it due to safety reasons but other than that it’s been pretty smooth. My clients are amazing and so is having all the support from Fetch family pet resort.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’ve had many jobs over the years everything from waitressing to being the assistant director to a timeshare cancellation company! Now I’m happy where I am working for a produce company called EW Kean. It’s a small office with me and one other person who happens to be my sister. It is very laid-back with no stress, the hours give me the opportunity to run Bark Seat driver.
My true passion though is working dogs/ animals. I love the interactions with all the different dogs and personalities! Watching them transform from being hesitant and anxious when first introducing them the taxi to running up the ramp into there safe space to get them home!! We pick up and drop off from daycare, vet appointments and everything in between! Last minute, emergency’s even stuck in traffic Bark Seat Driver is always there !!!

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I feel like it’s played a big part in a good way! If it wasn’t for choosing to work part-time at fetch family pet resort I would’ve never came up with the idea or had the confidence to move forward. They have been so supportive as I have mentioned before it was kind of a no-brainer when they said yes to promoting my business. Don’t get me wrong this also benefits them their clients absolutely love it and it’s starting to catch on.
