Today we’d like to introduce you to Lodi Tannios.
Lodi, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I didn’t start my journey thinking I would one day own a real estate brokerage. Like many entrepreneurs, my path was shaped by life experiences, challenges, and a deep desire to create a better future for myself and my children.
Before real estate, I was a high school teacher. Education was always something I valued deeply, and I loved helping people grow. But as a single mother of three boys, I knew I needed to build something that could give my family more stability, flexibility, and long-term opportunity.
Real estate became that path.
When I first entered the industry, I started from the ground up. I didn’t have a big network, a team behind me, or shortcuts to success. What I did have was determination, a strong work ethic, and the belief that if I worked hard enough, I could build something meaningful. I spent years learning every part of the business, building relationships, earning my clients’ trust, and establishing myself in the community.
Over time, my passion for helping people find homes grew into something bigger. I realized that what truly motivated me was not only helping clients, but also supporting and mentoring other agents. I saw how important culture, support, and collaboration were in this industry.
That vision eventually led me to open my own brokerage, Trinity Realty.
Creating Trinity Realty was more than starting a business—it was creating a space where agents could grow, feel supported, and build successful careers in their own unique way. I believe there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to success in real estate. Every agent has different goals, different strengths, and different paths, and I built my brokerage around that philosophy.
Today, as a broker-owner, I’m proud not only of the transactions we close, but of the community we’ve built. Trinity Realty is built on support, family, growth, and integrity. Watching my agents succeed and knowing that I’ve created opportunities for others is one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
Looking back, the road wasn’t always easy. Balancing motherhood, career growth, and entrepreneurship came with its share of sacrifices and challenges. But those experiences shaped who I am today. They taught me resilience, gratitude, and the importance of believing in yourself even when the path isn’t clear.
My journey is still unfolding, but one thing remains constant: my commitment to helping people—whether it’s clients finding their homes or agents building their futures.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t been easy. Real estate is challenging for anyone, but it’s especially tough for a woman building a career from scratch. I’ve had to give up family events, put my personal life on hold, and work long hours just to keep things moving. Even when I was in the hospital for weeks, sick and with no backup, my business still had to keep going — because I am the backup.
Those experiences were exhausting, but they taught me resilience, grit, and the importance of creating a business that supports others the way I wish I had been supported. That’s the heart of Trinity Realty.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Trinity Realty is more than just a real estate brokerage — it’s a company built on trust, guidance, and truly showing up for our clients. We help people buy, sell, and invest in residential properties, but what sets us apart is how involved we are every step of the way.
Real estate is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions people make. For first-time buyers, we take the time to educate them and walk them through the entire process so they feel confident, not overwhelmed. For sellers, we help them navigate everything from preparing their home for the market to negotiating the best possible outcome.
And along the way, there’s never a dull moment. Real estate comes with its fair share of surprises — from last-minute deal hurdles to the occasional unexpected story during a showing — but those moments make the victories even more rewarding. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of handing keys to a first-time homeowner, closing a challenging deal, or helping an investor turn the right opportunity into a winning investment.
What I’m most proud of about Trinity Realty is the level of care we bring to every transaction. We don’t just show up for the closing — we show up for the entire journey. Our goal is to make sure every client feels supported, informed, and confident, knowing they have a team that will go above and beyond to help them succeed.
“Every deal tells a story, every client becomes part of the journey, and that’s what continues to drive everything we do at Trinity Realty.”
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck has played a role in my life and business, but it’s not the kind of luck people usually imagine. Some opportunities came unexpectedly — like meeting a client or mentor at the right moment — but most of my progress has come from hard work, persistence, and problem-solving. Even when things went wrong — delays, financial setbacks, or times I was out of commission with no backup — I had to find a way to keep the business moving. Those moments felt like bad luck, but they taught me resilience, how to adapt under pressure, and the importance of persistence.
Even in the toughest times, I’ve always believed that God has been on my side. Without His guidance and faith, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Hard work and determination matter, but my faith has given me the strength, perspective, and courage to keep moving forward through every challenge.
