Hidden Gems: Meet Judith Lindenberger of The Lindenberger Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Judith Lindenberger.

Hi Judith, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I worked in human resources for about fifteen years, first working for the federal government designing and conducting EEOC training, then for a bank as the Manager of Management Development, and then for Brown-Forman Corporation as an international HR partner. I had always dreamed of owning my own business and had two mentors in my life who urged me to go forward. I started my consulting firm in 2001.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The hardest part of starting a consulting business is gaining sales and doing the work at the same time. You are always looking for the next client. Luckily, my husband was in sales and helped me create and execute a sales strategy. Other than the initial challenge of learning how to do sales, it has been a wonderful ride.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Lindenberger Group?
The Lindenberger Group is a woman-owned business that specializes in fractional human resources support for small businesses and non-profit organizations. We specialize in employee handbooks, recruiting, onboarding, compensation studies, employee relations, employee surveys, career coaching, organizational design, training and executive coaching. We are known for creating long-term partnerships with our clients based on delivering results. Our website, www.lindenbergergroup.com, has many success stories. We have a team of 12 HR consultants who each have a minimum of ten years of experience. I am proud of the team – they do great work and we have little turnover. In fact, our Glassdoor reviews are exceptional.

What are your plans for the future?
I want to continue to grow the business.
