I’m Moataz Zayed, the CEO of Graphix Assist. I came to the USA in 2015, and from a very young age, I knew I wanted to build something of my own. What started as ambition and a vision turned into years of hard work, learning, and staying committed to growing my business.
Not many young entrepreneurs can say they’ve been working on their business for nearly a decade, and that’s a part of my story that means a lot to me. My journey has not just been about business, but about growth, resilience, and proving to myself that with consistency and belief, something small can turn into something meaningful.
At the end of the day, I’m someone who is deeply ambitious, but also human. I care about building real relationships, creating real value, and continuing to grow into the person and leader I know I am. I have created tremendous growth for my clients, my employees and my coworkers.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the biggest struggles along the way was doing it largely alone. Being the sole owner of a marketing agency serving nearly 500 clients across the country came with a lot of pressure. When you are the one carrying the vision, the decisions, the client expectations, and the daily operations, it can get rough very quickly.
Another challenge was adapting to the rise of AI. When it first entered the scene, there was a lot of uncertainty around where it fit, how much it would change the industry, and how to work with it without losing the human side of marketing. That period was difficult to navigate, but over time it became clearer where AI is useful, where its limits are, and where real strategy, creativity, and personal understanding still matter most.
Being young in business was also a struggle in itself. When you are a young business owner, people do not always give you the respect you have earned. Sometimes you have to work twice as hard just to be taken seriously. That taught me how to stay confident, let results speak for themselves, and keep building even when people underestimated me.

Building something over nearly a decade, especially at a young age, taught me that showing up again and again matters more than anything. It is what helped me keep going through the pressure of running a business, serving hundreds of clients, adapting to change, and continuing to improve along the way.
Consistency also built trust. It helped me develop real relationships, deliver results over time, and grow Graphix Assist into something people could rely on. More than anything, it is the quality that turned vision into something real.
