Hidden Gems: Meet Nora Dracup of Alpha Pack, Aqua and Physio Therapy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nora Dracup.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I decided when I was serving in Afghanistan for the US Army that if I made it home, I was going to do something that was worthwhile and worthy of those who didn’t make it home. I started college for Physical Therapy Assistant, after graduation I then completed my bachelors and began working in geriatrics. My French Bulldog Biscuit became paralyzed, I saw there was a need for something outside of using the vet, wheelchairs, how to handle non mobility and what to do to get my dog moving again.
After Covid finished, i started working with animals in Physio Therapy and became a certified Companion Animal Physio Therapist (CCAT) and bought the location I was working for and started under the name Alpha Pack, Aqua and Physio Therapy.
I am proud to be a female, veteran, business owner.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Financing the buying of a new business, getting through the first two years, surviving not paying yourself but working over 50 hours a week, replacing old equipment, getting my name out there, getting through being self employed and a business owner for the first time, while giving top class red carpet service to my patients and pet parents.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
