Hidden Gems: Meet Reema Issac of Premier Events by Reema

Today we’d like to introduce you to Reema Issac.

Reema, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I always say that Premier Events began with my own wedding. I was married in New Jersey in 2015, and while the day itself was beautiful, what stayed with me most were the florals. I became completely immersed in the process the textures and the way flowers can transform a space and evoke so much emotion. It was the one element that felt truly magical to me.

At the same time, I saw firsthand how overwhelming the design process experience could be, and I knew I wanted to create something different for future couples not just beautiful designs, but a thoughtful, elevated experience from the first conversation to the day of the wedding.

Within a year of my wedding, I founded Premier Events. What started with bridal bouquets and intimate sweetheart tables has grown into a full-service luxury floral and event design house. Today, we’re known for our white-glove approach, large scale installations, and for creating environments that feel as personal as they are visually striking.

At the heart of it, though, the mission is still the same as it was in the beginning: to give every couple that same sense of wonder I felt when I saw my own flowers for the first time. That part alone is what makes my job so rewarding.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like any growing business, the journey has had its share of challenges. We were still in the early stages when the pandemic hit, and overnight our entire industry came to a standstill. Events were postponed, supply chains were disrupted, and there was a lot of uncertainty not just creatively, but operationally and emotionally as well.

Coming out of that period, we faced another hurdle with the significant floral shortages in 2021. Even now, availability can shift season to season depending on global economics, shipping conditions, and even trends when a particular flower or color palette becomes “the” look of the moment, demand can spike almost instantly. That requires us to be incredibly agile, to redesign thoughtfully, source creatively, and manage expectations while still delivering a luxury result.

Those experiences, though, really strengthened our foundation. They pushed us to build better systems, diversify sourcing, and become more innovative in our designs. Most importantly, they reinforced our commitment to our clients to remain calm, solution-oriented, and to protect their experience no matter what’s happening behind the scenes.

As you know, we’re big fans of Premier Events by Reema . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Premier Events is a full-service luxury floral and event design house based in New Jersey, serving clients throughout the tri-state area and beyond. We specialize in immersive, large-scale floral environments from refined, romantic palettes to dramatic statement installations always tailored to reflect each client’s story and the architecture of the space.

What sets us apart is that we approach every event from both a design and a production standpoint. We’re not only focused on how something looks, but on how it’s engineered, installed, and experienced. Our team manages everything from concept development and floral recipes to logistics, on-site builds, and strike, which allows our clients and planning partners to feel completely supported.

We’re known for our white-glove service, our attention to detail, and our ability to transform a room in a way that feels intentional and cohesive rather than just decorative. Many of our designs incorporate custom structures, layered textures, and thoughtful floral movement so that the environment feels dynamic from every angle.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the trust we’ve built. A large part of our work comes from referrals, planners, venues, and past clients who know that we will execute at a high level and protect the guest experience. We’ve grown from creating bridal bouquets and intimate tables to producing full-scale luxury events, but we’ve kept that same hands-on, personal approach.

At the heart of Premier Events is the belief that florals are not just an accessory they are a storytelling element. They set the tone, shape the atmosphere, and create the moments guests remember. That’s what we want readers to know: we’re not just designing flowers, we’re designing an experience.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I would say resilience has been the most important quality in my journey. This industry moves quickly and no two events or seasons are ever the same. There are long hours, high expectations, and constantly changing variables, and you have to be able to adapt without losing your vision or your standard.

Equally important is my attention to detail. In luxury events, it’s the small, intentional choices that create the overall experience the proportion of an arrangement, the way a palette transitions across a room, how a guest first encounters the space. I’ve built my brand on being deeply involved in those details from concept to installation.

But above all, it’s the care I have for my clients and my team. I take a lot of pride in creating an environment where everyone feels supported and where the end result reflects not just beautiful design, but thoughtful execution. That combination resilience, precision, and genuine care is what has allowed Premier Events to grow and sustain itself.
