Today we’d like to introduce you to Dale Spencer Weeks.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Ever since I was a little boy, I had a feeling I wasn’t alone. I felt a positive presence around me, but I also sensed there was something greater, something beyond what I could see or understand at the time. I now know that part of what I was feeling was the presence of my father, who had physically transitioned when I was five years old.
I was also very intuitive as a child. I picked up on things about people and family that a kid wouldn’t normally know, or certainly wouldn’t talk about. I could sense when people didn’t like each other, when there were hidden family rivalries or tensions, and I was very attentive to people’s feelings. I was also keenly aware of how people felt about me. Once, after I revealed something I’d “seen,” an aunt “popped me upside my head.” I can laugh about it now, but I learned pretty quickly to keep most things to myself. I didn’t have a name for any of it then. I just knew what I felt and what I saw.
As I got older, I began to understand that what I had experienced as a child was intuition, and that my ability to feel and see things beyond what was being said or shown was a gift that had always been with me. I also came to understand something I had sensed from a very young age: we are souls, and while the body dies, we do not. Both of those understandings became part of the foundation of my life long before I knew what I would eventually do for a living.
When I was fifteen years old, my dear mother gave me a numerology book that immediately sparked something within me. There was a familiarity to it. I felt as though I already knew numerology. It opened a door within me, and I was excited by the rediscovery.
Raised in the Pentecostal church, I later studied for the ministry, but I had also always wanted to be an actor. While studying for the ministry, I found myself torn between the two. Eventually, the pull to act won out, and I headed to New York City, where I became a professional actor. I appeared on several soap operas and in commercials, and later played Melvin in the national tour of a revival of No Place to Be Somebody, directed by its Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, Charles Gordone.
When I didn’t have acting work, I also worked as a bartender. Eventually, I knew I needed to leave the bar scene. Around that time, a friend called and asked if I knew anyone who might be interested in working at a juice bar inside an Equinox fitness club. He knew I knew a lot of people. I said, “Yes—me.”
Taking the job meant a steep financial step down, but I didn’t care. I knew I needed a change. No more smoke, alcohol, or late nights. I was now working in an incredibly healthy environment, inside a vegan café and juice bar, and I could work out at the club as well. I knew I needed that physical and spiritual healing. It was right.
Less than a year later, the owners decided to leave Equinox. One of the customers suggested that I take it over. I actually laughed at the idea. But by Monday morning, something in me had shifted. I began thinking that if I owned the café, I could continue acting and have the flexibility to audition when opportunities came along. So I walked into the manager’s office and told him I wanted to own it.
A couple of weeks later, they came back and offered me the opportunity to manage the café for the new owners. I said, “Yes—but only if I’m the new owner.” Two days later, they offered me the café. I named it Dale’s. It became very successful, and seven months later I was offered the opportunity to open a second location and a catering company.
Dale’s Juice and Wellness Cafés flourished and became an important chapter of my life for the next ten years. But eventually, changing economic conditions brought that chapter to a close. Four months had passed, and I genuinely had no idea what to do next. In many ways, it was a terrifying crossroads for me. But I settled down within myself. I trusted that the guidance I had felt throughout my life was still there. I believe many of us feel that kind of help around us. The important thing is learning to listen, trust what we receive, and then being willing to take the step.
On a Wednesday night, as I was getting ready to sleep, I asked God, whom I also refer to as the Absolute Spirit, for help and direction. I went to sleep not knowing what would happen next.
The next morning, I woke up and heard a clear whisper in my ear: “Paint your bedroom.” As crazy as it sounded to me, the message was too clear and too loud to ignore. I figured maybe painting my bedroom would change my outlook, and I reluctantly took the train to the paint store.
As I was about to walk into the paint store, a woman was walking out. We literally brushed arms. Had either of us arrived just a few seconds earlier or later, our paths would not have crossed at that moment. She suddenly stopped, looked at me, and asked, “Is your name Dale?”
I said, “Yes.” She looked at me and said, “You don’t know me.” I replied, “You’re right, I don’t know you.” She went on to explain that years earlier her boyfriend, a fellow bartender, had asked me to record a short numerology reading for her as a gift. At the time, I used numerology to better understand myself, and it gave me insight into what was up ahead for me. I would also occasionally share what I saw in the numbers with friends. She told me she still listened to that recording every now and then, even after all those years. Then she asked, “Do you still do numerology?”
That crossing of paths literally became the beginning of what is now Numerology by Dale.
I’ve learned to ask myself first, “Does this feel right?” I believe our spirit is always speaking to us. There are truths within us that help reveal what is right for us, what direction to take, and sometimes what direction not to take. The challenge is quieting ourselves enough to hear them. I like to call it turning up your “God Volume.” The more you listen, trust what you hear, and act on it, the stronger that connection becomes.
It’s something I say often and have come to know personally: Truths Don’t Lie.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I can tell you it hasn’t always been a smooth ride, but even the bumps have had lessons. And I try to be open to learning.
Looking back, one of my most profound challenges came about thirteen years ago, when my intuitive abilities began to expand in ways I hadn’t experienced before. I started seeing events and scenes as if I were viewing a film clip or stream. During a Life Reading for one client, I saw her in a body of water, drowning, with a child in her hand. I didn’t see her die, but the scene was so vivid that I mentioned what I saw in the recording.
After I sent her the audio, I immediately regretted saying it. I questioned myself. At that point in my life, I knew the soul did not die, but I had not fully embraced the idea that we live many lives. I have always believed that the present is what matters most, but I was beginning to understand that sometimes the past can speak just as loudly.
Then she emailed me. She didn’t remember drowning, but what I had described struck a deep chord within her. She told me that since childhood she had lived with a dreadful fear of bodies of water, particularly pools, oceans and ponds, and never understood why. What I saw helped her understand where her fear came from, and with that understanding, she felt a genuine optimism that she could begin to heal. She later told me I was welcome to share her story if it would help someone else realize a truth.
Her email gave me the confirmation I needed. I made a decision from that point forward: “Say what I see.” If what I was seeing didn’t resonate or ring true for the people I was reading, then I would have to stop. But I could no longer dismiss what I was seeing simply because I couldn’t explain it. Today, I can.
Another challenge for me has been learning not to overextend myself intuitively. It took me a few years to really understand how important it is to take care of myself in all that I offer. I like to call it being “Positively Selfish.” I’ve learned to recognize when I need to rest, when I need time alone, and when I need to recharge. These days, I think we all need to be Positively Selfish at times. Taking care of yourself allows you to be more present in your own life, and when someone does need you, you’re in a better place to be there for them.
Every challenge has strengthened my understanding of myself, expanded my compassion, and reinforced my purpose: to help people better understand themselves and place more light upon their path.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The work I do is both practical and spiritual. I am blessed to connect with people from all walks of life and from around the world. They come to me for many different reasons. Some are at a crossroads in their lives and are seeking clarity about what they are moving through or what may lie ahead. Some want greater insight into their personal year, career direction, a relationship, or someone they are dating. Others come seeking guidance or connection with a loved one who has physically transitioned. Others come to me for naming—a business, a book, a product, a film, or even a child, which to me is both practical and incredibly spiritual. There is power in a name. A name carries a vibration; it becomes part of how we express ourselves in the world and how the world sees us. Whatever the reason our paths cross, my purpose is the same: to help place more light upon their path.
I am a Psychic Numerologist and Seer. Numerology reveals how the vibrations of numbers influence us every single day of our lives. Through my work with numerology, my intuitive abilities expanded beyond numbers alone. I became consciously aware of my clairvoyant and clairaudient abilities, the ability to see and hear intuitively. I can see aspects of a person’s soul journey, including relationships, purpose, life direction, and what they may be moving through.
Numerology is not simply about interpreting numbers. Everything has a vibration: the universe, the planet, people, names, days, dates, and even the different periods of our lives. Numerology gives us a way to identify and understand those vibrations through numbers. Each number has its own characteristics and expression, and each letter of the alphabet is assigned a number. This is one of the ways numerology allows us to understand the vibration of a name. Think about the decades. The 1960s had a very different vibration from the 1980s, in music, fashion, politics, culture, and more. Names, dates, and even the homes we live in carry vibrations. These are things people experience every day, but many may not have thought about them in this way. Understanding these vibrations can bring greater awareness and clarity in all that we do.

My work also extends to speaking engagements and educational content designed to make numerology approachable, understandable, and meaningful in everyday life.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
One thing that might surprise people is that I never take a reading or session for granted. Whether it’s a Life Reading, a Year Reading, an Insight Session, or simply responding to a question through an audio recording, I approach each person with the same care and intention. At the end of many of my recordings, you’ll hear me say, “I hope this resonates with you,” because I genuinely mean it. I’m grateful that so many people tell me the messages resonate deeply, make sense, and help them move past whatever issue or challenge they were facing. Still, I’m always mindful of the trust someone places in me.
Every reading, every session, and every conversation is an opportunity to help place more light upon someone’s path. I consider that a privilege. I don’t see myself as the light. I am, like everyone else, of God’s light. We are all here For Purpose.
