Today we’d like to introduce you to Sayany Ortega.
Hi Sayany, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My path to becoming a relationship coach didn’t follow a traditional blueprint. It evolved naturally through life experience, curiosity about human behavior, and years of being the person people trusted with their most vulnerable stories.
I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, and even growing up I noticed something about the way people interacted with me. Friends, family members, and even acquaintances would open up about their relationships, their heartbreak, and the difficult decisions they were struggling to make. At the time I didn’t fully realize it, but those conversations were quietly shaping the work I would one day dedicate my life to.
Before launching my company, I spent about 15 years working in the restaurant, event planning, and catering industry. It was an environment that taught me resilience, communication, and how to navigate people from all backgrounds and emotional states. Later, I spent five years working at Google, which exposed me to structure, innovation, and professional growth at a global level. While those experiences were valuable, I eventually realized that the work that truly fulfilled me had always been centered around helping people understand themselves and their relationships.
That realization led me to create Love Solutions Consulting, LLC.
Through my practice, I work with individuals and couples navigating some of the most complex emotional experiences people face—communication breakdowns, betrayal trauma, divorce recovery, dating challenges, rebuilding self-esteem, and understanding unhealthy relationship patterns. My work focuses not only on helping people repair relationships with others, but also on helping them rebuild the relationship they have with themselves.
Education has always been an important part of my growth in this field. I completed my certification in Psychology and Therapy through IAP Career College, and I am currently expanding my expertise by pursuing certifications in Narcissistic Abuse Recovery and Sex Therapy. These areas are incredibly important in today’s relationship landscape, as many people are trying to heal from toxic dynamics, trauma, and intimacy challenges that often go unspoken.
What drives me most about this work is witnessing transformation. I’ve seen people walk into sessions feeling completely lost in their relationships, questioning their worth or their future, and gradually find clarity, confidence, and emotional stability again. Relationships have a profound impact on our well-being, and when people learn how to communicate better, set boundaries, and understand their emotional patterns, it can change the entire direction of their lives.
Today, Love Solutions Consulting has grown into a space where people come not just for advice, but for real transformation. Whether I’m helping a couple rebuild trust after years of conflict or guiding someone through healing after a painful breakup or betrayal, my goal is always the same: to help people gain the awareness, tools, and confidence they need to build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
Looking back, what started as people simply confiding in me has evolved into a career dedicated to helping others navigate some of the most important and complex parts of the human experience—love, connection, healing, and growth.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Like most entrepreneurial journeys, there have been many moments of uncertainty, setbacks, and lessons that forced me to grow quickly.
One of the biggest challenges was simply building something from the ground up without a clear roadmap. When I started Love Solutions Consulting, I wasn’t stepping into a fully structured industry with a traditional career path. I had to figure out how to build a practice, develop programs that truly helped people, and earn the trust of clients who were often coming to me during some of the most painful moments of their lives.
There were also moments in my professional life that forced me to reevaluate everything. Before focusing fully on my business, I had experiences in the workforce that made it clear that sometimes environments aren’t designed for your growth. Those moments were difficult, but they pushed me to take ownership of my future and create something that aligned more closely with my purpose.
Another challenge that many people don’t talk about is the emotional weight that comes with this type of work. When you are helping people navigate betrayal, divorce, trauma, and deep relationship pain, you are often sitting with people during some of the hardest chapters of their lives. Learning how to hold space for others while also maintaining your own emotional balance has been a very important part of my personal growth.
Building a business also requires resilience. There are times when you invest in yourself, in education, in marketing, and in building systems without knowing exactly when the return will come. It takes patience, faith in your vision, and a willingness to keep showing up even when things feel uncertain.
But those struggles have also shaped the way I work with clients. They’ve taught me empathy, perspective, and the importance of perseverance. Many of the people I work with are going through moments where they feel lost or unsure about their future. Having navigated my own challenges along the way allows me to meet them with a deeper level of understanding.
Answering this questions made me realize the road wasn’t meant to be smooth. Each challenge helped shape the work I do today and reinforced why creating Love Solutions Consulting was the right path for me!
We’ve been impressed with Love Solutions Consulting, LLC , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Love Solutions Consulting, LLC is a relationship and personal development consulting practice I built to help people navigate the real challenges that come with love, commitment, and personal growth. My work focuses on individuals and couples who want to better understand their relationships, strengthen their marriages, repair communication breakdowns, heal from betrayal, or rebuild their confidence after difficult relationship experiences.
A large part of my work involves helping couples who want to repair or strengthen their marriages. Many couples come to me when they feel stuck in cycles of conflict, emotional distance, or misunderstanding. In those moments, it’s rarely just about the argument they’re having in the present. There are often deeper emotional patterns, past experiences, and communication habits influencing how they show up with each other. My role is to help them slow down, understand what’s really happening beneath the surface, and begin rebuilding trust, emotional safety, and respect in their relationship.
What truly sets my work apart is how personalized my approach is. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice when it comes to relationships. Every individual and every couple comes in with their own history, personalities, communication styles, and emotional triggers. Because of that, I take the time to create customized techniques, strategies, roadmaps, frameworks, reflective exercises, and assignments that are designed specifically for that person or that couple’s dynamic. These tools help clients not only understand what’s happening in their relationship but also practice new ways of communicating, responding, and connecting outside of our sessions.
Education has also been an important part of my growth in this field. I completed my certification in Psychology and Therapy through IAP Career College, and I’m currently expanding my expertise by pursuing certifications in Narcissistic Abuse Recovery and Sex Therapy. Relationships are complex, and many of the issues people face today involve deeper emotional wounds, trauma, attachment patterns, and intimacy challenges that deserve thoughtful and informed guidance.
What I’m most proud of brand-wise is the environment I’ve created for people. Love Solutions Consulting has become a space where individuals and couples feel safe having honest conversations about things many people struggle to talk about openly — marriage challenges, infidelity, emotional disconnection, rebuilding trust, or healing from toxic relationship patterns.
At the end of the day, relationships shape so much of our lives. When people learn how to communicate more effectively, understand themselves on a deeper level, and develop healthier emotional patterns, the transformation goes far beyond the relationship itself. It changes how they show up in every area of their lives.
Helping people reach that level of clarity and growth is the most meaningful part of the work I do.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
One quality that has been incredibly important to my success is emotional awareness — both in understanding people and in understanding myself. The work I do requires being able to listen beyond what someone is saying on the surface. Often when clients come to me, especially couples in marriage or individuals going through heartbreak or betrayal, what they’re expressing is layered with emotions they may not even fully understand themselves yet. Being able to recognize those patterns, hold space for them without judgment, and help guide people toward clarity is a huge part of what makes my work effective.
Another characteristic that has played a big role is resilience. Building a business, especially in a field centered around human emotions and relationships, requires a lot of patience and persistence. There are moments of uncertainty, moments where you question whether you’re doing enough, and moments where you’re carrying the emotional weight of the people you’re helping. Staying committed to the vision and continuing to grow, learn, and show up for the work has been essential.
I also think authenticity matters. People can feel when someone is genuine. I’ve always approached my work from a place of real care and curiosity about people’s lives and experiences. I’m not interested in giving generic advice — I want to truly understand the person or couple in front of me so I can help them create meaningful change.
At the end of the day, I believe success in this field comes from a combination of empathy, emotional intelligence, and the willingness to keep evolving as both a professional and as a person!
