Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Weaver.
Hi Jessica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born into the financial industry as my father has been an advisor for 40 years. I joined his financial firm in 2010, and quickly realized how male dominated it was. After trying to forge relationships with other female advisors, only to be turned down, I decided to create a community for women. In 2022, I left my father’s firm to launch The Wealth Boutique, which is a female focused financial firm. We have 8 advisors in 7 different states since opening our doors and serve both men and women as clients. In 2024, we opened launched Pinkfix Productions, which is a multi media company to publish books, TV shows, magazines, and events. We have helped over 100 women become published best selling authors in the process. My own TV show that we produce, Women Behind the Millions, showcases the behind the scenes look at building wealth, protecting wealth, and passing it on to the next generation and charity. I walked away from a family business to launch a pink money empire, while uniting women with every step I take! We’ve been able to raise $15,000 for our Financial Trendsetters College Scholarship Fund and create a mentorship program for women studying finance.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Leaving my father’s firm was a heartbreaking moment for both of us. I loved working with him, but I came to a moment when I was ready to create something special and unique in the industry. After speaking with countless women in the financial industry, I knew I wasn’t the only woman to feel alone and isolated. This became even more apparent after having my first child and battling postpartum depression and anxiety. I was committed to being able to have a family, raise my children, and for my work to continue to grow. I see so many women feel like they have to sacrifice their careers and businesses during this time. It’s hard not to think that way when the corporate world doesn’t give you the flexibility you need. I wanted to create a company that allowed me to grow my business while growing my family, and that meant not working longer hours or harder but more strategically. Now I get to share with other women, you don’t have to sacrifice but rather build a plan, surround yourself with support, and be intentional with who and where you spend your energy.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a nationwide, boutique financial firm that gives you customized advice, planning, and investment management with white-glove service. We begin with your financial foundation built with estate planning, tax planning, and retirement planning so we have a map of where to go with your money and life. Next we build up with aligning your money with the right investments and insurance. But the core piece that most firms overlook or don’t know enough about is the internal wealth. You have a money story, beliefs, and habits that have created your current cash flow and net worth. Do these beliefs and behaviors still complement where you want your wealth to go? This is where we see most people transform their wealth, and then we get to bring in the external factors such as accounts, investments, and insurance to complement it!
What matters most to you? Why?
That no matter what age or stage you are, every woman deserves wealth, to feel abundant, and worthy of it! That you have a legacy, and the world needs you to step up to claim it!
