Today we’d like to introduce you to Keanah Rodriguez.
Hi Keanah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Growing up, my father owned a small business and was a highly talented construction worker. From a young age, he taught me the importance of networking and advertising—long before social media made it mainstream. Because of him, I have always made it a priority to support local and small businesses.
During the pandemic, many of my friends began expressing their creativity in different ways, which eventually turned into small businesses. I started promoting their businesses, and over time, other entrepreneurs began offering products or services in exchange for promotion. After hosting an extremely successful pop-up shop, I decided to continue organizing promotions and events—and here we are nearly five years later.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In the beginning, building credibility and gaining trust was challenging, especially as a young woman in business. At times, people underestimated me or didn’t immediately see the value in my vision.
There were also logistical hurdles—securing venues, coordinating vendors, managing finances, and handling last-minute changes. Balancing everything could feel overwhelming. However, those challenges strengthened my resilience, sharpened my skills, and helped me grow into a more confident and capable entrepreneur.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in creating promotional content for small businesses. What I’m most proud of is my ability to drive real results—bringing in customers and clients who directly support and grow the businesses I promote.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I see the industry becoming even more focused on authentic, community-driven content. Consumers want real connections, so small businesses will rely more on creators who build trust—not just large followings.
Video, interactive content, and data-driven personalization will continue to grow, allowing small brands to compete in powerful ways. Overall, the future is about genuine engagement and meaningful impact.
