Meet Tony Newbury of New Jersey

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Newbury.

Hi Tony, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Tony Newbury is an independent artist from New Jersey known for blending smooth vocals with soulful, sample-driven production into what Music Crowns called “…a unique blend of hip-hop, alternative and pop…” With over 2 million streams across all platforms, his music stays honest, reflective, and rooted in real experience, earning recognition from outlets across the industry. EARMILK described Tony as “…an inspirational figure in the music industry,” while Fame Magazine called him “…a beacon of inspiration…”

Before moving to Los Angeles, Tony taught music production to youth at The HUBB Arts and Trauma Center in Newark, New Jersey—an experience that shaped his approach to making music with purpose. His uplifting sound has been praised as “…upbeat and melodic…” by Music News and “…powerful…” by NewsBreak, reflecting the authenticity that defines his work.

Behind the scenes, Tony has worked as a songwriter, engineer, and producer, collaborating with artists including A$AP Rocky , YG , 6ix , Malik Yusef , WESTSIDE BOOGIE , Buddy , and Charles Hamilton , always keeping his approach grounded and intentional. Vents Magazine described his journey as “…another milestone…” as he continues building a career centered on connection, growth, and his lifelong motto: JUSTKEEPGOING.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Ups and downs. Having to go to LA by myself was tough. But I’m grateful for where God has brought me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an artist/ producer. I also engineer for other artists. That’s something I’ve been doing a lot in LA. I’m proud that I’ve come this far independently. I’d say my energy and work ethic are what stand out.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I just released the deluxe version of my album FOREVER GOOD. It would be cool if whoever reads this could check it out.
