Hi Barrington, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started back in high school, where drawing and sketching became more than just a hobby—they were how I expressed myself. At one point, I seriously considered attending art school, but I ultimately chose a different path, believing that pursuing psychology would offer a more stable future.
As life often does, it had other plans. In 2023, art found its way back into my life. It wasn’t an overnight transformation; it was a slow, intentional return that reminded me of who I was and what I was meant to create.
Today, my life is fuller than I ever imagined. As an emerging artist, there are still challenges, lessons, and moments of uncertainty, but every experience has reaffirmed that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. I wouldn’t trade this journey—or this life—for anything.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth road? Of course not. Nothing worth exploring is ever easy. Some of the biggest struggles were getting out of my shell and finding the confidence to meet and greet people. As an artist, you’re a content creator, among many other things, and you’re constantly in the public eye.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
One of the things I’m most proud of is returning to art after stepping away from it for years. Although I always had a passion for creating, life took me in a different direction. In 2023, I found my way back to art and have been steadily building my career ever since. Seeing my work exhibited, connecting with collectors, and growing a community around my art has been incredibly rewarding because every milestone represents persistence and faith in my vision.
What sets me apart is the intention behind my work. I’m not interested in creating pieces simply to fill a wall—I want each painting to carry meaning and encourage introspection. My experiences, heritage, and personal growth all influence my creative process, resulting in artwork that feels authentic, emotionally driven, and open to interpretation. Every piece is an invitation for viewers to discover something unique within themselves.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Yes, several risk I strongly believe in investing in yourself. Each event you are not guaranteed a sell but you still have to show up and be professional and put a smile on your face
