Hi Kerri , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Our business began in 2020 while I was home with my kids during a season that changed everything for so many families. I taught myself to sew during that time, looking for a creative outlet and a way to bring a little joy into everyday life. What started as a simple love for dressing up dogs in handmade bandanas quickly grew into something more meaningful — a small business built from creativity, resilience, and a deep love for dogs.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many small business owners, I’ve had to learn everything as I go — from sewing and sourcing materials to pricing, marketing, and balancing work with raising kids. There were moments of exhaustion and self-doubt, especially while juggling family life and growing the business. But each challenge pushed me to adapt, get creative, and build something stronger than I ever imagined.

I create thoughtfully designed dog accessories, with a focus on handmade bandanas that celebrate everyday moments, seasons, and special occasions. I’m known for my attention to detail, timeless patterns, and designs that feel both playful and elevated. What I’m most proud of is building a brand that gives back — donating to support animal shelters and rescue organizations whenever possible. What sets my work apart is the heart behind it: every piece is created with care, intention, and a genuine love for dogs, their people, and the community that supports them.
