Today we’d like to introduce you to Moshe Raskind.
Hi Moshe, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
During COVID I was in private practice in Yardley, PA. We were given a lot of cautionary info about COVID; so I made the decision to go virtual from home (Cherry Hill). There were a lack of video counselors and I grew from 25 sessions a week to 50 and hired 2 1099 employees. Thus Serenity Psychotherapy was born. 5 years later, Serenity has therapists in 20 states with over 35 therapists!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Serenity Psychotherapy LLC is a premiere therapy group comprised of over 35 private practitioners. We have no waiting list, We pay one of the highest percentages to our therapists and if a therapist should leave Serenity, they can bring their clients with them! The most important value is the client. Their relationship is with the therapist!!
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Teresa Ruehlicke functions as our intake coordinator and billing manager. She has brought our functionality to an incredibly high level. Peter Ragonese, a professional I go back with over 30 years, is our Sex Offender Specialist and has been my on call consultant for the rest of our staff, when I am unavailable. He has filled in for me at Team Meetings which occur every Monday at 12 EST.
Every member of our staff provides to our functioning and professionalism.
