Rising Stars: Meet Nicole Pawlowski of New Jersey

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Pawlowski.

Hi Nicole, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up the way a lot of people do in Wildwood Crest—working in the family business. My parents owned Lakeview Docks, a jet ski rental and fishing pier on Sunset Lake, for over 20 years, so hospitality and hard work were just part of everyday life. When they decided to retire and sell the business, it felt natural to stay in the industry we knew and loved, which led us into short-term rentals. Now we continue to work as an amazing team together helping families find a home-away-from-home in Wildwood Crest.

What started as a transition quickly became something we’re truly passionate about. I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people, and now I get to help guests experience Wildwood Crest the way locals do—answering questions, solving problems, and essentially acting as a personal concierge for their stay. EAE Vacations at Beach Crest Condos has been a wonderful transition for us and our guests are our number one priority.

Hospitality is also a big part of my husband’s life—his family owns the Compass Family Resort here in the Crest—so it’s something we both genuinely enjoy. We’ve been married since 2019 and have two beautiful children, and building a business around welcoming others to a place we love has been incredibly rewarding. Growing our new family business brings us so much joy. It’s been a full-circle journey, and one we’re grateful for every day.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Truthfully, it’s been a pretty smooth road—and we don’t take that for granted. We’ve been incredibly lucky with the community at Beachcrest Condos; everyone welcomed us with open arms from the start, which made a huge difference.

Our guests have been just as amazing—especially in those early years while we were learning the ropes of running EAE Vacations. Their patience and support helped us grow quickly and confidently.

Now that we’re a few years in and have a much stronger understanding of the business, we can honestly say we love it even more. It’s been a rewarding experience from day one, and it just keeps getting better.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’d say I’m known for the details. I have very high standards for every stay—from the condition of the condo to the overall guest experience—and I’m intentional about getting it right from A to Z. I’m naturally detail-oriented and a planner, so I try to think through everything before our guests even have to ask.

More than anything, I’m proud of the relationships we build with our guests. We’ve been fortunate to receive some incredible reviews and feedback, and that means the world to me. I want every guest to leave Wildwood Crest—and one of our condos—feeling relaxed, taken care of, and already excited to come back.

I also understand that planning a vacation can be stressful, so I really focus on making the process as easy and seamless as possible. From the first inquiry to check-out, my goal is to be helpful, responsive, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. When guests feel happy they found us, that’s when I know we’ve done our job right.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that might surprise people is just how hands-on and detail-driven our business really is behind the scenes. While short-term rentals can seem simple from the outside, there’s a lot that goes into creating a seamless experience—from coordinating cleanings and maintenance to anticipating guest needs before they even arrive.

Another thing people may not realize is how personal it is for me. I’m not just managing bookings—I’m the one communicating with guests, answering questions, and making sure every stay meets the standard I would want for my own family. That level of involvement is something I take a lot of pride in, and I think it’s a big part of what sets us apart.

At the end of the day, it’s not just about providing a place to stay—it’s about creating an experience people genuinely look forward to returning to.
