Exploring Life & Business with Laura Ferri of Laura Ferri Growth Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Ferri.

Hi Laura, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
A decade ago, at an incredible precipice of life I just started writing. The My Inner Struggle Blog was born from a place of pain, but over the course of a decade has taught me so much about myself.

It’s everything – writing from a place of pain or the joyous “after”. Becoming authentically me during the process. In the decade I’ve been blogging about my journey through life I’ve talked about everything from marriage, to being a mom, to divorce, dating, sex, learning to love myself, building a business and everything in between.

I also host the My Inner Struggle podcast – which can be found on YouTube and Spotify – all with the same topics. Nothing is off limits.

I published my first book Is “Is It An Open Bar?” in 2025, and continue to write my blog weekly as I begin my next book.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
“Struggle” was what it was all about. Being comfortable in my own skin. A decade ago, I didn’t think I had anything to offer anyone in a conversation. It took a lot of digging, and tears to come out on the other side.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Laura Ferri Growth Co. was built from real-life experience, growth, rebuilding, and the belief that personal growth is business growth. I believe who you are is how you lead — in your relationships, your business, your confidence, your communication, and the way you show up for your life overall.

What started as honest conversations around healing, self-worth, burnout, mindset, and navigating difficult seasons of life has evolved into a brand focused on helping women grow both personally and professionally in sustainable, authentic ways.

Through coaching, speaking, events, content, and community, I support women who are trying to move forward — whether that’s in business, leadership, confidence, relationships, or simply reconnecting with themselves again. My work is centered around helping people stop overthinking, get honest about what’s holding them back, and begin creating real momentum forward.

What sets Laura Ferri Growth Co. apart is that nothing about it is surface-level. I’m not interested in selling unrealistic overnight success, “perfect” healing, or polished versions of growth. My work is rooted in honest conversations, emotional intelligence, accountability, self-awareness, and practical strategy. Real growth requires both inner work and action — and I believe you can’t sustainably build a business while completely abandoning yourself in the process.

The brand includes several areas of focus, including personal growth content through My Inner Struggle, business coaching and leadership support through The Growth Leader, women’s empowerment events, community gatherings, and coaching for women navigating life and business transitions.

What I’m most proud of is the community that has formed around this work. Whether it’s through local events, coaching conversations, podcast episodes, newsletters, or social media, people consistently tell me they feel seen, understood, challenged, and motivated to take action after engaging with my content. I’ve worked hard to create spaces that feel honest, supportive, empowering, and real.

At the core of everything I do is this message: growth is possible, but it requires honesty, self-awareness, accountability, and the willingness to move forward even before you feel fully ready.

How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happiest is watching someone reconnect with themselves again. Seeing someone go from doubting themselves, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or afraid to take the next step — to suddenly realizing they’re capable of more than they thought — is the most rewarding part of what I do.

I love honest conversations. I love helping people see the patterns, beliefs, or fears that are keeping them small and then helping them build the confidence, structure, and mindset to move forward anyway.

I’m also happiest creating meaningful community and connection. Whether it’s through coaching, speaking, events, my podcast, or simply conversations online, I want people to feel less alone in what they’re navigating. So much of my work is about reminding people that growth doesn’t happen because your life suddenly becomes perfect — it happens because you decide to keep showing up for yourself through it all.

Personally, I find a lot of joy in simple things too — early mornings, writing, gardening, long walks, coffee conversations, being around my kids, building something meaningful from the ground up, and creating a life and business that actually feels aligned with who I am.

At the end of the day, what makes me happiest is growth — not just success on paper, but watching people become more themselves.

One thing I’ve been saying for years (even in my dating profile) is – there’s nothing better than walking away from a conversation where we’ve both become better people.
