Hi Eliana, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In 2020, just before the world was reshaped by the COVID-19 pandemic, I made a deeply personal decision to undergo cosmetic surgery. After the birth of my three daughters and years of struggling with long-standing body dysmorphia, I sought the care of a locally recommended surgeon for a tummy tuck, thigh liposuction, and chin liposuction.
As with any cosmetic procedure, post-operative care—including proper compression garments—was critical to a safe and successful recovery. However, amid the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic, I relied on post-operative care services provided by a family friend. Unfortunately, improper garment recommendations led to complications, specifically fat necrosis, resulting in months of physical discomfort and emotional distress.
Eventually, I returned to my surgeon, who was able to successfully treat the complication. While the experience was difficult, it became a turning point rather than a deterrent. I made a promise to myself to fully understand the importance of proper post-operative care after cosmetic surgery—so that others would not have to endure the same experience.
That promise became ESBELTA BODY.
Since then, I have completed countless specialized courses, studied medical journals, and reviewed case studies to ensure that my knowledge is evidence-based and aligned with best practices in post-operative cosmetic care. I work collaboratively with surgeons to provide clients with safe, informed, and compassionate care throughout their recovery journey.
Although cosmetic surgery remains a topic that is often met with judgment, my space is one of trust, education, and respect. Every client who enters ESBELTA BODY is heard, supported, and treated with professionalism. Should complications arise, they are addressed promptly and appropriately in coordination with the surgeon—because recovery deserves the same level of care as the procedure itself.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the challenges I have encountered is navigating the natural fluctuations that come with operating a business. Additionally, some clients experience post-operative complications that can delay their recovery process. While these complications are beyond my control, I remain committed to providing ongoing support, maintaining regular follow-up, and ensuring each client feels informed, cared for, and supported throughout their recovery journey.

I also find great fulfillment in watching my clients flourish once they have fully recovered. Witnessing their renewed confidence, improved well-being, and positive transformation is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work and continues to inspire my passion for post-operative care.
