Meet Divina of D LATINOS MULTI SERVICES

Today we’d like to introduce you to Divina.

Hi Divina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and later moved to the United States in search of better opportunities for myself and my family. Like many immigrants, I started from the ground up, learning how to navigate a new country, a new language, and a different business environment.

Over time, I developed a passion for helping individuals and small business owners with taxes, bookkeeping, business registrations, and administrative services. I saw that many members of the Hispanic community needed guidance and someone they could trust to help them understand complex processes. That inspired me to start my own business.

What began as helping a few clients grew into a full-service business assisting individuals, families, and entrepreneurs with tax preparation, business formation, bookkeeping, payroll, and other professional services. Along the way, I have continued to learn, expand my knowledge, and build relationships within the community.

Today, I am proud to serve clients from many different backgrounds while continuing to support the Hispanic community. My journey has been built on hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to helping others succeed. Every challenge has been an opportunity to grow, and I look forward to continuing that journey while making a positive impact on the people and businesses I serve.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. Like many small business owners, I have faced numerous challenges along the way. One of the biggest challenges was starting and growing a business while balancing family responsibilities. As an immigrant, I also had to learn how to navigate different systems, regulations, and business practices while continuing to improve my English and professional skills.

Building trust with clients took time. In the beginning, I worked long hours, often handling every aspect of the business myself, from customer service and bookkeeping to marketing and operations. There were moments when resources were limited, and I had to make difficult decisions while continuing to provide quality service to my clients.

The tax and business services industry is constantly changing, so staying current with new laws, regulations, and technology has also been an ongoing challenge. However, every obstacle taught me something valuable. Those experiences helped me become more resilient, organized, and determined.

Looking back, I believe the challenges were an important part of my growth. They pushed me to work harder, learn more, and develop a stronger business that better serves my clients and community today.

What matters most to me is my family, my community, and helping others succeed. Through my business, I have the opportunity to assist individuals and small business owners with important financial and business decisions. Knowing that I can make a positive impact in someone’s life is what motivates me every day.
