Today we’d like to introduce you to Faith Noga.
Hi Faith, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
This October will be six years since I lost my 14 year-old daughter due to complications of epilepsy and an eating disorder as a result of her illness and going back-and-forth to the doctors. The idea of opening a café was put on my mind seeing that she was vegan and we got her weight restored eating that way. Some of the things we offer in our shops are her recipes that she would actually eat after her passing. I was driving by the location of our first business and said hey that would be a great spot for a Coffee Shop. That particular one I went in with with my brother-in-law who helped me with the financing and we opened on October 11, 2021. So many people hoped that we would be successful in that location seeing that location was many things at many different times and nothing ever seem to survive. I’m happy to say that we have survive and are doing very well in January of this year the manager of the original Store and I went into opening a second location up in Jenkintown.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the challenges that we’ve had are staffing issues and at times handling the crowds of people that walk through the door you want to get their food to them quickly and yet our location is so small that we can’t really expand so unfortunately at times it creates a line or there’s not enough seating et
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I feel that what sets us most apart is our menus and the creativity of our decorations. Our menus changed once a month, offering a variety of different specialty lattes that myself, and the staff have come up with people get very excited to see what’s next and we’ve done very unique theme, such as Alice in Wonderland, the mafia true crime, and Coraline and Harry Potter
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories was working with my grandfather on various projects within the house and being extremely creative. Also, I remember baking a lot and cooking a lot with my family and keeping family traditions alive. I also remember decorating for the holidays with my mom which I fully enjoyed and decorating for parties, etc..
