Meet Chad Hallett of Adrenaline Sports Performance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chad Hallett.

Hi chad , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I always had a passion for working out through playing various sports growing up around 2004 my cousin who was overweight started to come to the gym with me. He went from 315 to 240lbs in 6 month time frame. Realizing the joy I brought and how I enjoyed the process I decided to start my personal training journey. I started off working front desk at a commercial gym while studying for my certification. Once completed I was offered a position as a trainer by the general fitness director only to be rejected by the GM of the club. So I left for another club and and was promised compensation of a certain amount and when I received my first check I decided this wasn’t a fit. So I was training clients at the local park and recieved employment at another facility. This one seemed promising. The pay was decent and was close to home. After working for a couple weeks it dawned on me that instead of them paying me 20 per hour I was actually paying them 80 per hour to use their facility since I did everything from beginning to end with the client. I did some simple math and decided I would be better off with my own facility. so I looked around found a small facility that used to be a crossfit gym and acquire the lease. started training gen pop until I went out Santa Barbara california for a certification. while at the certification the Director asked a group of 40 of us if we wanted to go to a studio of one of his friends and get some insight into his operation. 4 of us answered the cal. That was the best advice I received and I switched my focus into training athletes and that’s when my career took off

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
hasn’t been smooth being a business owner its always gonna be some bumps along the way for example my first year in business. I was used to doing close to 100 sessions per month and my first September I only did 18. so its always not knowing when business slows down covering rent etc.

We’ve been impressed with Adrenaline Sports Performance , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
established may of 2010 we primarily work with athletes ranging from grade school to the professional Level. We specialize in strength & conditioning and speed and agility programs. what sets us apart from other programs are that we are more focused on the individual meaning each individual gets their own custom program and its not a one size fits all cookie cutter program.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
dont believe in luck everything happens for a reason and is powered by the most high
