Hi Tom, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Tom La Vecchia is the founder of X Factor Media, publisher of New Jersey Digest, and host of the New Theory Podcast. A marketing strategist, entrepreneur, and media executive, he helps brands grow through innovative digital marketing, content, and storytelling. I started. out in Pharmaceuticals and Medical Device space as I left corporate in 2012 and never looked back. I launched X Factor Media in October 2012. I acquired New Jersey Digest in 2019 as its one of the fastest groing digital platforms in New Jersey.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Hell no! I went to undergraduate full time at night while working full time during the day combining about 70 hours a week for 4 years. I made some bad moves that almost bankrupt our company – twice. It was expensive dummy task, but I try my best to operate cautiiously while making prudent decisions.
