Hi B’fer, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
The Tree House Guys started out originally as Forever Young Treehouses in the Fall of 2000 as a nonprofit speciallizing in wheelchair accessible treehouses. Several years later, patrtners James “B’fer” Roth & Chris “Ka-V Haake” branched out to form The Treehouse Guys llc, and have been designing and building private backyard treehouses & public park treehouses in addition to the accessible projects at camps for kids with dissabilities. The creative process of coming up with unique, rustic, and whimsically inspired treehouses for clients of all ages is something we take great pride in! The very essence of a treehouse is something that evokes a childlike connection – a timeless experience in nature for all. We have now, 26 years later, built our special treehouses in 25 States, and in Canada and Costa Rica as well, and are continuing on to new horizons.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We are quite fortunate to say that other than having a website presence on the internet, we have not had venture into much marketing/advertising to keep a steady stream of business up in the trees.

We specialize in creating unique on-of-a-kind treehouses. We are known for our fantastic rustic, whimsical designs. We are most proud of providing universal access to people of all abilities up into our treehouses! This alone sets us apart from the rest, but additionally it is our great communications and rapport with all of our clients that have made for many very happy clients for 26 years! Our authentic treehouses are very unique, and not just houses in the trees…

Pricing:
- A basic open aired platform with roof and railing built with economy materials starts at $100,000.
- A closed in treehouse with an exposed interior stud wall built with economy materials starts at $175,000.
- A closed in treehouse with finished interior built with economy materials starts at $200,000.
- A more high end treehouse, one you can live in or perhaps one that you are going to rent out, that is closed in with fully finished interior built with economy materials and all the amenities of home starts at $250,000.
