Community Highlights: Meet David Warner of David Warner Photography LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to David Warner.

Hi David, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
The Early Days: Hustle and Vinyl
Fifty years ago, it all began with a passion for music. As a college student, I started out as a mobile DJ, hauling massive speakers and heavy crates of vinyl records to birthdays, Sweet Sixteens, and Bar Mitzvahs. There were no cell phones or GPS—just pure hustle and a love for making people dance.

Building an Entertainment Empire
As technology evolved from cassettes to CDs to laptops, so did my business. I partnered with a talented magician, and as my family grew, we officially formed Events Plus Entertainment. We expanded far beyond music, growing into a massive operation. We brought Las Vegas-style casino nights to charities, set up full carnivals for company picnics, and hosted live, interactive TV-style game shows.

Finding a New Lens on Life
While running these massive events, I found myself drawn to capturing the smiles and pure joy of the crowds we were entertaining. What started as a photography “side hustle” began to steadily grow alongside the entertainment company.

A Timely Pivot
In early 2020, in a stroke of incredibly good timing, I sold my share of the entertainment business just before the pandemic changed the world. This allowed me to pivot entirely to my true calling: photography. During those early pandemic years, I shifted to documenting beautiful, intimate park weddings and small backyard gatherings.

Where I Am Today
For the past 11 years, my camera has been my constant companion. Today, I am a full-time photographer capturing the full spectrum of life’s milestones—from professional headshots and corporate galas to weddings, family portraits, and holiday events. From a college kid hauling records to a seasoned photographer, the tools have changed, but my mission remains the exact same: to create, connect, and capture memories that last a lifetime.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am reliable, honest, reasonable, fun and attentive

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Customers are relying on my expertise to capture one of their most important and memorable life events and I need to take that seriously
