Conversations with Malcolm Boatwright

Today we’d like to introduce you to Malcolm Boatwright.

Hi Malcolm, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Everything started from the womb. I’ve been dancing since the womb. I continue to grow my skill set, just being inspired by watching my peers, my idols and just practicing every single day to get to where I am today. From dance groups, to talent shows ,musicals, to attending art school. The Love of dance has helped me become the man I am today.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. It’s been very tough throughout the years. How the industry was at one point and now it’s a lot different. You still have your struggles but through faith and determination I continue to thrive.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a dance teacher for dance 2000 in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. I teach hip-hop from the age of 6 to 18. I’m known for being an entertainer. I give my heart to everything that I do and also the people that I love and care about. Most proud of recently being able to perform for A$AP Rocky. Don’t be dumb tour.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I won’t say any books or podcast, but just reading in general quotes or just listening to people giving guidance on life helps me with my everyday of life.
