Hidden Gems: Meet Ashley Lebrun of Wonder & Co. Creative

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Lebrun.

Ashley, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’d known since watching What Women Want that I wanted to working in marketing. Then I graduated and started working in video production just as paid advertising on social media was becoming a thing. That early exposure to branded content production redirected my entire career. I spent the better part of a decade working as the Post-Production Supervisor and later the Director of Post at a content creation studio called Mustache. In 2019 I made the move to work for myself, and the whirlwind of 2020 took us from there.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth? No, lol. On a personal level 2020 was scary for the same reasons most people were afraid. On a business level, our exact customer was seeing the deep need for an online presence at the same time they were receiving government funding. So our business boomed. The last three years have been a swing back from that moment in time. Tightening budgets, rising costs, the introduction of AI, ubiquitous access to tools like Canva. We’ve done a lot of research and re-strategizing to meet our customers in the current moment. The shifting market has forced us to apply our skillsets in new ways and some really great work has resulted. Adapting has been rewarding, and challenging, and it’s made me proud, but I’d be lying if I described it as smooth.

We’ve been impressed with Wonder & Co. Creative , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Wonder & Co. Creative is a brand strategy and organic marketing studio specializing in voice, visual identity, production and web.

We help founder-led businesses clarify their brand and build it into every part of how they work, from identity to daily operations to marketing.

We build brands that don’t just look the part, but do the work of clarifying what a business stands for, connecting it to the people who matter most, and carrying it forward as it grows. Good design doesn’t just look good, it changes what a business is capable of.

I am a Brand Strategist & Creative Director and my business partner, Bettina Arria is our Art Director. We partner with a select, trusted network of creatives and strategists and work primarily with clients in NY, NJ and PA.

I’d say our approach is our differentiator. A brand only works when it’s actually used, so we don’t just hand over files, we help your brand go live and take hold. We help build it into your day to day operations and organic marketing. We integrate it with the tools that support your place of work. We design systems that support growth.

I want readers to know that brand strategy and strong, consistent organic marketing are table stakes in 2026. And that AI is an amazing tool, but it isn’t a cure-all. The most successful brands and businesses will be the ones who learn how genuinely connect to their customer and do the work to stay easy to find, easy to understand and easy to choose. The brands that replace connection with AI generated this and that without strategy will lose sight of the people out there behind the dollar signs.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
